Benefits

RFID reduces costs and dangers, improves processes, enhances entertainment, and even protects our lives.

Passive RFID delivers identification benefits more powerful than barcodes. RFID does not require direct line of sight. Reader devices can detect tags inside a box, or inside a plastic card where the tags can't be seen. Read distances can range from less than an inch to up to 30 feet. RFID tags can contain larger quantities of data than typical barcodes, and the data can be re-written to in some IC chips depending on security settings and IC chip features. RFID readers can read hundreds tags at rates so fast it appears simultaneous.

User friendly ID cards with RFID technology enhance event security and data collection.

RFID tags enable increased product security. Tags and the items they are attached to can be tracked, traced, and authenticated with rapid throughput. An RFID tag IC chip can contain its own unique, unalterable tag identifier along with the serial number of an item and product lot number in its writable memory. This helps brand owners coping with quality issues, diversion, or a product recall understand when and where the adverse event occurred, how large an event it is, and how best to contain and remedy it. RFID tag integrated circuit chips have a variety of built-in security features depending on intended use cases. P3 works with all the major RFID tag and IC suppliers to provide our customers with an optimized solution to meet client needs needs and requirements.

Because RFID systems help with identification of people and assets in real-time, RFID enables better decision making and reduces operational costs by optimizing resources.
