P3 staff have developed many different types of card formations and unique security features.
- For instance, the highly successful XP1, softer card type has been extremely successful in many harsh and/or cold environments. This composite formulation card was specifically developed in response to dealer requests for a longer lasting card.
- Embedded (laminated) holograms were also developed due to requests from P3's dealer network for a lower cost hologram card that could be utilized in dye sublimation printers without fear of ruining print heads.
- Watermark technology was first manufactured at P3 as a low cost, high security feature.
- P3 has also partnered with other companies to manufacturer rewritable cards that use no consumables (i.e. ribbons) to erase old information and now re-write new information.
- Also offering uniquely coated cards that can only be read with special, wave-length lights.
